Join Journey Song
We Welcome New Members
Journey Song welcomes prospective new members of any age or ability. There are no auditions and no requirements beyond a love of singing and a willingness to give from your heart.
We invite you to sit in on a few rehearsals anytime to see us in action – and to talk to other JS members about what we do. Rehearsals are held most Mondays, from 7:00-8:30 pm at the Stratham Community Church, 6 Emery Lane, Stratham, NH. (Contact us first if you plan to drop in – in case we're taking a week off!) Directions here.
We sing a cappella four-part harmony for those nearing the end of life.
-
Small groups (usually 4-6 people) sing at the bedsides of hospice patients.
-
Larger groups sing at nursing homes, memory-care centers and senior centers.

We Bring Comfort & Solace
It has taken me a long time to try and find the “right words” to express the deep gratitude I feel for each of you in helping to create such a beautiful and sacred transition – and send-off – for my mom.
Our church is donating $150 to you this year “just because’” We feel that you do something very important – providing music to those who are comforted by your songs.
You thought of a way to bring unfathomable solace and comfort to my grieving heart. Not a night goes by without the words and tune to “I Still Have Joy” ringing clearly through my sleep.
Our profound gratitude for the gift of music at bedside that you bring to patients at end of life. Your contributions to the well-being of our patients and their families, and to all hospice patients, is remarkable
I want to thank you for an amazing performance at the memorial service. It was everything, and more, that we wanted.
What a gift it was to have Journey Song visit my aunt. They blessed us both with such beautiful music and lovely faces. Every song is what I needed and hopefully it touched my aunt.
